Outdoor CORPS

This summer was the first year of a new partnership with New Haven LEAP called Outdoor CORPS. 5 EVOLUTIONS students and spent the summer learning about outdoor education and environmental science, and then worked with counselors at LEAP to implement weeklong camps at two locations: Fair Haven and Church Street. Through classroom literacy activities, outdoor experiences, and field trips to the Peabody Museum and a real farm, the 9 and 10 year old LEAP campers learned all about nature.
