Congrats Summer Interns!

October 6, 2017
EVOLUTIONS students completed another successful summer of internships in Peabody collections areas and university labs. We are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication of each of these students, who each committed 100 hours of work in their assigned lab. The summer internships culminated in a poster session for their fellow EVOLUTIONS students last week. Each of the interns produced a full-sized, professionally printed scientific research poster, and gave short talks about their work to our newest EVO students. Throughout the summer, students learned about collections management, practiced reading scientific journal articles, and learned what's it's like to work as part of a team in a lab.Thank you to all of the faculty, managers, and grad students who helped to support and mentor these students. Those students are: Sandy Flores and Juhi Nath, working with Dr. Patrick Sweeney Kyndall Hailey and Carina Andrea, working with Dr. Pincelli Hull Dylan Ramrattan and Wayde Whichard, working with the SCSU CRISP Program Jasmine Jones and Ethan Weed, working with Dr. Susan Butts Karla Palma and Mel Deblasio, working with Greg Watkins Colwell
