It’s a new year!

EVO classes are back in action, and we are excited to welcome 40 new students to the EVOLUTIONS program. We have new 9th and 10th graders from every school in the district, and look forward to all of the great contributions they will make to the Peabody Museum this year. We have had lots of fun in our first few days of class. We toured the museum, meeting some of the scientists who work behind-the-scenes. Some students got to hold boxes and jars filled with scorpions, spiders, and worms, while others went to the basement of the basement to see a rare collection of cultural artifacts that included 10 foot tall canoes and statues. These are the first of many adventures we will have at the museum!
