IYEYS 2018!

Environmental Leaders recently attended Greening Forward's International Young Environmentalists Youth Summit (IYEYS) in the Bronx, NY. At the conference, students engaged with high schoolers from across New York state in conversations and workshops about the biggest environmental issues affecting communities today, and heard from local NYC organizations about how they are working to make the city 'greener.' Our crew also participated in roundtable discussions about GMO's and renewable energy sources, sharing their wide range of knowledge and experience on the subjects, and learned some new games to play at EVO. We had a great day at the conference and are looking forward to next year!
