Students to present research at UCONN

January 28, 2016

Two EVOLUTIONS students, Vanessa Hansen-Quartey and Sofia Azmal, will be presenting their summer research at the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium at the University of Connecticut. Vanessa’s project, Volatile Organic Compound Emissions at New Haven Sites, was carried out in collaboration with Chinanu Gubor in the laboratory of Dr. Drew Gentner at Yale University. She will participate in the competitive poster session. Sofia Azmal worked in the lab of Chinedum Osuji. Her research, controlled growth of zinc oxide nanorod arrays through block copolymer self-assembly, will be one of the oral presentations. Congratulations to both of these students!
